Air Systems BB30-CO Breathing Air Filtration System
This portable Grade-D filtration systems is designed to provide breathing air for a specific number of workers. The system filters inlet air to provide respirator users Grade-D quality air. The first stage filters bulk water and particulate, second stage coalescing filter eliminates atomized oils, mists, and ultra-fine particulates, third stage removes organic vapors and odors. Filter change indicators are standard on all three stages. Filter efficiency is 99.99 percent.01 microns. A built-in carbon monoxide monitor operates on 9-volt DC, dual 8 - 16 volt DC or 115 VAC for continuous detection. An external alarm and light signals the worker of high CO content. Point-of-Attachment (POA) boxes can extend respirator usage beyond 300 feet. The Breather Box models is designed to be used in the closed position to prevent internal contamination. Solid aluminum block manifold. 0-160 psi Pressure Gauge. Flowmeter to verify air flow to monitor. Remote DC alarm jack with cover cap.
- In-line carbon monoxide monitor, 30 cfm with 2 respirator couplings
- Optional intrinsically safe model, 9-volt DC
- Filter change Indicator on all 3 filters
- External case mounted warning lights and alarm
- 125 psi safety relief valve

Breather Box® Portable Grade-D Breathing Air Filtration Systems
The Industry Standard in Grade-D Air Filtration
Connected to a mobile or plant compressor, the Breather Box® provides Grade-D breathing air for 1 to 8 users (based on model) and continuously monitors for Carbon Monoxide (CO). CO/O2 and Intrinsically Safe Models are also available. -
Breather Box® Panel Mounted Grade-D Breathing Air Filtration Systems
The steel panel mounted system is designed to filter incoming air from a compressor to provide supplied air respirator users with Grade-D quality air while continuously monitoring for Carbon Monoxide (CO). CO/O2 and Intrinsically Safe Models are also available.

Blast-Air™ Carts
Blast-Air™ Carts
(10)Designed for the Commercial Sandblasting, Paint and Coatings Industry
Ideal for the Rental Market
The Blast-Air™ Cart features two 300 cfm rear pre-filters with auto-drains to remove large amounts of oil and water discharged from a compressor before it enters the Breather Box®. The pre-filters will extend the Breather Box® filter life and reduce downtime and maintenance costs. Air is supplied to the cart from mobile or stationary air compressors. -
Portable Airline Monitors
A portable airline monitor connects easily to a breathing air filtration source or ambient air pumps and monitors the air for CO or CO/O2, depending on the model. An audible alarm (95 dBA) and light will activate when the CO level exceeds 10 ppm (5 ppm Canadian). Used in the closed and upright position, an external alarm and lights signal the user if there are dangerous CO or CO/O2 levels.
-
Panel Mounted Airline Monitors
For Fixed System Continuous Sampling of CO and/or CO/O2 levels
The carbon monoxide (CO) airline monitor panel can be ordered to retrofit any existing Grade-D breathing air system, CO and Oxygen (O2) monitor also available. Standard units are supplied with high intensity audible alarm (120 dBA) and a 115 VAC power cord. All units are powder coated steel and ready for wall mounting. Intrinsically safe versions available - CSA approved, 9 VDC power only. Supplied Grade-D air filtration is required to operate the monitor. -
Auto-Air™ Breather Box® Fully Automatic Reserve Air Systems
The Auto-Air™ filtration system was developed to provide Grade-D breathing air with full automatic reserve air for use in Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health (IDLH) work locations. In the event of electrical failure or reduced pressure from the primary air source, reserve air activation automatically switches to the reserve air cylinder(s). An alarm signals the worker(s) the primary air system has failed and switched to the back-up air system.

Auto-Air™ Carts
Auto-Air™ Carts
(13)The Auto-Air™ Cart contains an Auto-Air™ Breather Box® to provide Grade-D breathing air while continuously monitoring for Carbon Monoxide (CO). In the event of electrical failure or air pressure failure, the reserve air activation automatically switches to the reserve air cylinder(s). A pneumatic or electronic reserve air system consisting of twin air cylinders provides back-up air. Select the cart size based on the desired amount of users and reserve air needed to allow workers to safely egress the work area in an emergency. Carts operate with 2216 to 5000 psi cylinders (sold separately).

Point of Attachments (POA) Remote Air Manifolds
Also Known as a Remote Air Manifold
Meets NIOSH requirements of the 87-116 (1989) document for point of attachment
A Point of Attachment (POA) consists of a regulator, pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and fittings matching the respirator being used. A POA box can be located any distance from the Grade-D filtration Breather Box® or filtration panel. The remote air manifold (POA) assembly becomes the NIOSH attachment point for the respirator(s) and is now limited to a maximum 300 feet of breathing air hose from the air outlet fitting on the remote POA box. POA's may be used in wet and/or hazardous locations. -
Remote Audio/Visual Alarms
Remote alarms act as a local warning device.
Remote alarms duplicate local alarms found on primary equipment, such as a Breather Box® or air filtration panel. The alarm is brought into the remote work space and alerts workers if a system fault alarm occurs. Depending on the alarm, the alert can be audible, visual, or both. -
Replacement Filters for Breather Boxes® and Filtration Panels
In order to maintain Grade-D air quality, fi lters must be changed on a regular basis.
- Airline Monitor Calibration Kits, Accessories and Sensors

Portable Prefilters
Portable Prefilters
(22)The portable prefilter with automatic drain is designed to remove large amounts of oil and water discharged from a compressor before the air enters the Breather Box® filters. A prefilter will extend the Breather Box® filter's life, reduce maintenance downtime, and costs. Ideal for use in humid climates.

Air Quality Test Kits
Air Systems' breathing air quality test kits are designed to test the air produced by both low pressure compressors (use model LP-A4) and high pressure air in cylinders (use model HP-A4 or HP-A445). The tests are accomplished through the use of low cost detector tubes providing a "go/no go" test of the air quality. If a high reading is found, this signals potentially unacceptable breathing air quality and a laboratory analysis of the breathing air must be made to determine the exact readings of the air quality in order to take corrective action.
-
Compressed Air Cylinder Test Kits
The AQTCOO2KIT Cylinder Test Kit is designed to rapidly test rented cylinder's blended breathing air quality. The intrinsically safe monitor provides an immediate and accurate Oxygen (O2) and Carbon Monoxide (CO) reading for blended high-pressure cylinder air. The meter requires two 9 volt batteries for operation and is supplied with a 10 foot high pressure hose and a 5000 psi regulator with a universal CGA-347 hand tight cylinder connection.
