Kleen Blast Classic Abrasive is an Iron Alumina Silicate that is black in color, with angular to sub-angular granules.

It has been water-quenched to remove most of the soluble metals and harden the particles at the cooling stage, then fresh water washed, removing unusable fines, dust and soluble chlorides.

The result is a sandblasting media which is inert, amorphous, worker-safe product with zero free silica.

Testing shows all RCRA 8 metals +17 California metals are either undetectable or well below regulatory levels.

QPL approved (MIL-A-22262B), C.A.R.B. approved for outdoor blasting and SSPC AB1 certified.
