A deliquescent is a solid material that dissolves into liquid by absorbing moisture from the air.
Desiccant is a hygroscopic substance used as a drying agent, so a deliquescent desiccant is a drying agent material that dissolves as it absorbs moisture.
With vapor attracting properties, Dry-O-Lite® deliquescent desiccant tablets are ideal for drying compressed air and other gases and preventing the harmful effects of moisture in surface preparatiion.
Simply add new desiccant several times per year and drain the vessel daily.
